VOYAGER ILLUSTRATION

Christian Benavides, also known as Voyager, is a digital illustrator from Medellin, Colombia, with nine years of experience in the professional scene. His greatest growth came when he decided to travel and apply his life experiences to his visual representations. Through encounters with indigenous and artistic traditions in South America, as well as working and studying at The Animation Workshop in Denmark and practicing Tibetan Thankga Art in the Nepalese Himalayas, he developed his style and technique to what it is today.

Voyager creates images that reflect his name, representing a journey through time and space. His artwork showcases both his internal and external journeys. Throughout his artistic experience, he has created illustrations for various esteemed clients, including Wizards of the Coast: Magic, Red Bull, Riot, Huawei, Chill Beats Records, Dub FX, Adobe, Boulder Media, Domestika, Maezen, Many Worlds Tavern, Bondi Noda, Shellz Orb Collection,Nasa's JPL & Caltech Speculative Fiction book along side many other projects that aim to represent sci-fi, fantasy, and mystical worlds and characters. Currently, his main focus is creating cover art for editorial, board games, music, video games, and animation industries.
